All combined with a comprehensive range of outdoor activities.
Bookings for Spring/Summer 2018 are open!
We often receive requests from friends and clients that want to follow us on our production trips.
It’s more the rule than the exception that we go off the grid to remote locations.
The last year we have spent a huge amount of time on roadtrips through the epic landscapes of Norway. Somewhere along the mountain roads we got to thinking, maybe there are even more people interested in the same setup and routes we where driving. Maybe also in the activities we participated in.
During the years we have worked a lot together with project managers and locations scouts in Norway. This way we got to know the different areas better than most.
We are connected with local guides, instructors and civilians with unique expertise. With help from these people we are able to offer a comprehensive range of roadtrips that takes you to some of the world’s best nature areas for outdoor activities.
Each roadtrip is unique and specially designed for your specific group.
WHAT ACTIVITIES CAN YOU ADD TO THE ROADTRIP?
You rather want to go fishing or see the outbacks from above in a helicopter?
The routes and activities are custom made. So whatever you wanna do, we can probably arrange it.
If you have own gears you can bring them. This means mountainbikes, surfboards and skis. All other gears will be rented on location.
WHAT ABOUT LODGING?
There are several solutions depending on your request and budget. Do you value comfort and a good nights sleep so you have full energi for daytime activities? Or do you value an adventurous night under the stars?
Below you find some of the most used options by ourselves. We recommend a combination between these for the best experience.
Where do we go?
All roadtrips starts and ends in Stockholm – Sweden. We always make a stop in Oslo. This means that you can chose to join from Stockholm, or take a flight or train to Oslo and get picked up there if you are coming from another destination. The drive from Stockholm to Oslo takes approx 6 hours.
The route we are taking are depending on the focus of your trip. Is it to see as many locations as possible and enjoy the scenery from the road? Is it to ride the best mountainbike trails? Is it to hike on some of the most dramatic ridges you’ve seen? Maybe it’s a combination of all these? Whatever it is, we chose to focus on following areas where we think most magical spots are hidden.
Oppland / Buskerud / Telemark / Aust-Agder / Rogaland / Hordaland / Song och Fjordane / Möre och Romsdal
This is an example on how one of our routes can look like:
Day 1: Drive from Stockholm to Oslo early in the morning. Having lunch before we head out for the outbacks. This afternoon we reach one of the best mountainbike areas in the world. This night we stay in a canvas hotel. These are permanent luxury tents decorated as hotel rooms. Whats unique is that they are placed in the middle of a huge nature reserve. You only get there with your mtb.
Day 2: Full day of single track mountain biking, maybe even some fishing in one of the many lakes. Late afternoon we continue driving through epic landscapes, reaching our next destination before sun sets.
Day 3: Full day hiking. We sleep in tents under the stars and wake up to a sun rising behind the mountain tops.
Day 4: Hit the roads again. Some hours later we reach beaches. This is where we surf and hang out today. We stay in a small cabin by the shore.
Day 5: Early this morning we leave for the most intense day. After a couple of hours we reach a Mecca for outdoor sports. Depending on weather we go river rafting, paragliding and mountainbiking.
Day 6: After previous day whats better than hit the roads and head north to the most dramatic scenario Norway has to offer. This day we spend in the car driving on roads that will take your breath away. We stop and have “fika” whenever we feel like it.
Day 7: We drive south, but not in altitude difference. Some of the best spring- and summer skiing is around the corner. Local guides brings us up on some untouched terrain and we enjoy whatever the mountain and weather gods throws at us.
Day 8: Driving back to Oslo. Having lunch before we continue to Stockholm. We leave Norway with some bruises, a lot of memories and tons of laughters.
Remember: The actual roadtrip takes us on highways, gravel roads, winding mountain roads and scenic routes above the fjords. You will have first row seat with the camera in your hand.
